Stop rebating the Stock Transfer Tax!

Since 1981, the State has been rebating 100% of the Stock Transfer Tax. This is billions of dollars that the State lets slip through their fingers every year. It's a massive tax break for the wealthy and it should stop.

Ribbon Cuttings for Maintenance

Okay fellow taxpayers, it's time to look in the mirror and acknowledge that part of the problem is us. EVERY State Legislator & State Senator prides him or herself on 'bringing home the bacon". Roll back tobacco taxes to save tobacco jobs!

Cigarette and cigar taxes should be rolled back to the previous level. Tobacco wholesalers and retailers are suffering a serious loss of business from the sudden (and ridiculously high) increase in the tax on cigarettes and other tobacco products.
