Scheduling On Line Payments

I suggest that Online Services allow a taxpayer to schedule a date to pay taxes. This would make paying sales and income taxes easier.

State Police Priority

Our village is in a situation similar to several small communities with a police force that we likely can't afford and there are some that would say eliminate it and let the New York State Police handle the load. I hope this never happens since each and every day I see evidence that the New York State Police are totally useless and have no desire to actually solve crimes but instead only to torment good citizens with ...more »

Ribbon Cuttings for Maintenance

Okay fellow taxpayers, it's time to look in the mirror and acknowledge that part of the problem is us. EVERY State Legislator & State Senator prides him or herself on 'bringing home the bacon". Look at the mailings: here's Senator Smith at the groundbreaking for the NEW playground, nature walk, ballfield, library extension etc. Probably most of these endeavors do increase the quality of life for many but we have to say ...more »

SCHOOL CONSOLODATION NOW !!!

You HAVE to take a look at the bigger picture. Where are the majority of your tax dollars going? Most know that answer, the schools. 46% is devoted to school tax. The remaining 14% is divided between the Feds, state, and other local programs ...more »

WAKE UP

I have 4 friends that were stuck on the thruway in buffalo for over 12 hours - all with no food or water. Good ole' fat cat NYS did NOTHING to help them. Stop sucking our tax dollars and actually do something. Instead of waiting for problems to occur, then fix, be proactive. If the government was run by private businesses with their jobs on the line, this state would be a better place to live in.
